Merry Christmas Eve!
Ben and I hosted a Christmas brunch for some of our friends last weekend. Having a party in our little apartment presents some space challenges, so we decided on a drop-in, where it would feel more natural to stand around and people could come and go easily.

I had a great time planning this gathering, especially the brunch menu—brunch is my favorite! We haven’t invited many people over to our apartment yet; we haven’t made time, and we’ve felt inhibited by the space constraints, varying work schedules, and overall settling in.
I’m so glad we were able to put together this little brunch and share our home and sparkly Christmas tree with some of our new Seattle friends. It’s nice to have this holiday season as a time where you feel compelled to gather and mingle and make memories. However, I won’t wait until Christmas next year to have another party…that’s a resolution of sorts!
